Everyday tennis enthusiasts are being offered an opportunity to earn one million Australian dollars when they take on elite players - featuring top-ranked Carlos Alcaraz - in a single-point showdown prior to the Australian Grand Slam

Organizers of the year's first Grand Slam have unveiled the Million Dollar One Point Slam, which will pair 10 amateur players against top-ranked players in a elimination competition at Melbourne Park

The victors of the community events will then go into a draw, with a single non-professional from every geographic division chosen to compete in the 'grand finale' in a nighttime event on the specified date
