The midfielder Set-pieces on corner kicks and free-kicks were dangerous. Was given room to move down the left flank only to be in an offside position when the ball arrived in shooting positions. Awarded a merited rest on the hour mark. Six

Jude Bellingham Operated in a high position out wide and put in dirty work. Demonstrated glimpses of brilliance but scuffed an effort wide. Replaced towards the end for a teammate, his competition, after being booked. 7

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's clearest opportunity before halftime, his effort excellently kept out by the Albanian keeper. As Quansah holding position, he was forced to provide width down the right side yet his deliveries into the box varied in quality. Substituted late in the match. 6

The captain The decisive figure scoring 77th and 78th finishes for his country. The first a classic poacher’s finish and the second a classy finish with his head after peeling away away from the opposition. At 32, his form is unwavering and England are strong contenders in future competitions with him up top. 8

Eberechi Eze Struggled to influence play from the left. Had a decent opportunity after being played in by the midfielder but Strakosha made the save. Rashford made much more of effect in his place. Five
